What you’ll do
As a Mobile Technician / Shop Mechanic, you will provide critical on-site and shop services for commercial trucks and fleets.
- Perform routine maintenance and annual DOT inspections.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting using the computer diagnostic platform.
- Handle electrical systems, hydraulics, welding, and heavy lifting up to 70+ lbs.
- Participate in an on-call rotation two nights a week to support 24/7 roadside operations.
Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to diagnose and repair any make or model.
- Basic hand tools, or the ability to acquire them within 30 days.
- Valid driver’s license for 3+ years with a clean 10-year driving history.
- Ability to use a smartphone for dispatch and complete digital federal inspection documents.

Service Writer / Dispatcher
Nights & Weekends · $17–$25 per hour
