Onsite Fleet Maintenance Company

Keep your trucks working. Schedule maintenance where they park.

MTG sends mobile diesel technicians to your fleet yard, terminal, or jobsite for commercial trucks, trailers, and equipment across Colorado, Wyoming, and Texas. Visits are planned around parked units and your operating schedule, and every visit is backed by four fixed MTG repair shops when work needs a bay.

Requests are reviewed by dispatch, who confirms scope, site access, and a service window. Submitting a request does not confirm an appointment.

MTG MOBILE SERVICE TRUCK

Completed mobile maintenance — October 2026

A 2018 Ford F-450 was serviced as a mobile preventive maintenance visit by the MTG Colorado mobile team: engine oil and oil filter, fluid checks and top-off, fuel filter and water separator, then leaks and operation checked. The inspection found a drain-plug leak and a torn wiper — both replaced and the truck retested before it went back in service.

// Three ways to work with us

Choose the maintenance program that fits your fleet

Choose a single visit, a recurring maintenance schedule, or dedicated technician support. We review your units, site access, service needs, and preferred window to build a practical plan for your operation.

One-time fleet service visit

A single scheduled visit to catch up several units at once — useful after a backlog, a missed service cycle, or a new group of trucks and trailers entering your fleet.

  • •Multiple units at one site
  • •Scope agreed per unit
  • •Parts planned before arrival

Recurring onsite maintenance

A repeating visit cadence set from manufacturer guidance along with your mileage or engine hours, duty cycle, and service history. Visits are planned around parked equipment and your routes.

  • •Cadence set per fleet
  • •Weekly, biweekly, or monthly
  • •Records per visit

Dedicated technician / off-hours service

For fleets that need work completed outside operating hours, or a technician assigned to their yard. Availability is subject to your location and an agreed scope and service window.

  • •Off-hours windows
  • •Subject to local availability
  • •Agreed scope first

// How a fleet program starts

From unit list to the next scheduled visit

Every fleet visit follows the same sequence, so scope, access, and timing are settled before a technician arrives.

  1. 01

    Equipment list and location

You send the units needing service and the site address. Unit numbers, types, mileage or engine hours, and any service history help set the right starting point.

  2. 02

    Agreed scope and service window

Dispatch reviews the work, the parts to carry, yard access, parking, and the order of units, then confirms scope and pricing with you.

  3. 03

    Service visit

Technicians arrive in the agreed window and work through the units in a sequence that keeps the rest of the yard moving.

  4. 04

    Findings and recommendations

What was found on each unit is documented, and anything outside the agreed scope is discussed with your fleet contact before it is authorized.

  5. 05

    Next maintenance

The next interval is set from what the visit recorded and the manufacturer guidance for those units, so the schedule reflects the equipment rather than a fixed clock.

// Onsite PM packages

Onsite PM packages

Three tiered preventive maintenance packages delivered to your yard, with the annual DOT inspection and inspection-readiness work scheduled alongside them. Package mix and interval per unit are agreed with your fleet contact, and the findings are documented for your records.

PM-AOnsite

Preventive Maintenance “A” Service

Interval set by manufacturer guidance and duty cycle

The essential lube, oil, and filter service with a walkaround inspection to catch small issues before they become roadside failures.

  • Engine oil and filter change
  • Chassis and driveline lubrication
  • Fluid levels check and top-off
  • Belts, hoses, and coolant visual inspection
  • Tire pressure and tread depth
  • Lighting, glass, and walkaround inspection
  • Battery and charging system check
  • Engine fault-code scan
PM-BOnsite

Preventive Maintenance “B” Service

Deeper interval, planned with your fleet schedule

A deeper scheduled service that adds brake, suspension, steering, and air-system checks on top of every PM-A item.

  • Everything in PM-A
  • Brake adjustment and push-rod stroke
  • Slack adjusters and brake chambers
  • Suspension ride height and air bags
  • Steering linkage and draglink
  • Driveline and U-joint inspection
  • Wheel-end and hub temperature check
  • Air-system leak test and pressure build
  • ABS / EBS tractor and trailer scan
PM-COnsite

Comprehensive “C” Service

Extended interval for high-mileage or severe-duty units

The most thorough of the three tiers — wheel-end work, aftertreatment diagnostics, and a comprehensive documented inspection.

  • Everything in PM-B
  • Hub and wheel-end pull and inspect
  • Axle and wheel-bearing inspection
  • Transmission and clutch inspection
  • Driveline phasing and U-joints
  • DPF / SCR / aftertreatment diagnostics
  • Frame, kingpin, and fifth-wheel inspection
  • Suspension torque audit
  • Comprehensive documented inspection
// DOT inspection support

Annual DOT inspections and inspection readiness

MTG performs the periodic (annual) DOT inspection at your yard or in a shop bay and keeps maintenance-side inspection readiness in the same visit — brakes, air systems, lighting, tires and wheel ends, and securement. Completed work is documented per unit for your carrier records.

CVSA inspections are enforcement inspections carried out by certified inspectors at roadside or inspection stations, and CVSA decals are issued through that program. MTG does not perform CVSA inspections or issue CVSA decals.

Annual DOT inspection

Periodic inspection your carrier keeps on file

The periodic (annual) DOT inspection of the power unit and trailer, performed by MTG technicians at your yard or in a shop bay, with the inspection documented for your carrier records.

Inspection readiness

Pre-inspection maintenance review

A maintenance-side review of the items that most often surface in roadside inspections — brakes and adjustment, air leaks, lighting, tires and wheel ends, couplings, and securement — with defects identified and repaired before the unit goes out.

Defect repair

Repairs found during inspection

When an inspection or PM visit turns up a defect, the repair is scoped and authorized with your fleet contact, then completed onsite where the work allows or routed to a shop bay.

Records support

Documentation maintained

Completed maintenance and inspections are documented per unit so your fleet contact has records of what was done, when, and at what mileage or engine hours.

// Completed mobile maintenance record

Completed mobile maintenance — October 2026

A 2018 Ford F-450 was serviced as a mobile repair by the MTG Colorado mobile team. The visit was a B basic wet service: engine oil and oil filter change, fluid checks and top-off, air filter replaced, fuel filter and water separator replaced, the system primed, then leaks and operation checked.

The inspection during the visit found a drain-plug leak and a torn wiper. The affected parts were replaced and the truck was retested before it went back in service.

Checks, parts, and results shown are from this completed service order. Scope is set per unit and service interval, so another visit can cover different items.

Completed onsite trailer repair — Los Indios, TX

Service: mobile trailer repair · June 2026 · Harlingen team

A commercial trailer was resealed on site at a customer facility in Los Indios, TX, served by the Harlingen team.

Holes and leaks were reported at the trailer's upper corners. The technician found a damaged front corner seal and damaged roof edge, cleaned the affected surfaces, and applied new sealer to both front corners. The floor was inspected with no visible damage found.

At completion, MTG recommended replacing the cracked left-front corner cap when the trailer returned to the terminal. The recorded work covered corner resealing; cap replacement was not included in that visit.

// Equipment we maintain

Mobile preventive maintenance for trucks and trailers

MTG mobile diesel service covers commercial trucks, semi tractors, trailers, box trucks, and medium-duty fleets onsite — the same PM-A, PM-B, and PM-C work delivered at your yard, terminal, or jobsite.

Units we service

Semi tractors and dry van, reefer, and flatbed trailers; box trucks and medium-duty fleets running regional and last-mile routes. PM work follows the tiered packages above and is set to each fleet’s schedule.

Checks included in onsite PM

  • •Engine oil and filter changes
  • •Chassis lube and fluid checks
  • •Tire pressure, tread, and wheel-end checks
  • •Brake adjustment, chambers, and slack adjusters
  • •Air-system leak checks and valve tests
  • •Battery, charging, and lighting checks

Service intervals depend on manufacturer guidance, the equipment, its duty cycle, and service history — MTG sets the cadence to your fleet, not a fixed clock.

// Why PM matters here

Preventive maintenance built for Colorado, Wyoming & Texas conditions

Altitude, mountain grades, winter, and desert heat each wear a truck differently. MTG onsite PM is scheduled to the routes your fleet actually runs — so the checks that matter most in each region get done first.

Colorado high altitude & mountain grades

I-70 and I-76 into the Rockies put brakes, cooling, and DEF systems under sustained load. Onsite PM catches brake adjustment, cooling, and aftertreatment wear before a mountain-grade failure.

Wyoming winter, wind & high plains

I-80 across Wyoming brings fuel gelling, air-system freeze, and battery drain. PM-A and PM-B check air dryers, fuel/water separators, batteries, and charging before cold shuts a truck down.

Texas Rio Grande Valley heat

Harlingen and McKinney heat stresses cooling, A/C, tires, and batteries. Onsite PM in Texas targets cooling system pressure, tread depth, and charging systems for sustained high-temp running.

// Fleets we maintain

Fleet types we maintain onsite

Onsite PM and DOT programs are built around how each fleet works — from long-haul Class 8 to last-mile box trucks, run across Colorado, Wyoming, and Texas.

Long-haul & Class 8

Semi tractors and trailers running I-70, I-76, I-80, and I-25 get PM-A/B/C intervals set to their mileage and duty cycle, plus the annual DOT.

Regional & last-mile delivery

Box trucks and medium-duty fleets on tight urban schedules get yard-based PM and DOT to protect delivery windows.

Construction & vocational

Vocational trucks, mixers, and dump trucks run dirty and heavy — PM targets suspension, brakes, and hydraulics.

Oilfield & energy service

Field service trucks in remote areas get scheduled PM and DOT to stay compliant and avoid remote downtime.

Grocery & retail distribution

Reefer and dry-van fleets get PM plus reefer checks and DOT to keep cold-chain and store deliveries on time.

Landscaping & building supply

Landscaping and building supply fleets get PM and DOT at the yard so crews and materials keep moving.
