// Trailer service — Hyundai Translead

Hyundai Translead trailer repair & service

Hyundai Translead builds dry vans, refrigerated vans, flatbeds, and chassis.

On the trailer side the work is familiar: air leaks, brakes and ABS, lighting and wiring, suspension and air bags, landing gear, wheel ends, and body repair after assessment.

On a refrigerated Hyundai Translead van, keep two questions separate. The trailer — axles, brakes, air, lights, doors, body — is trailer repair. The refrigeration unit is its own system, and dispatch confirms whether that specific unit fault is on our side or referred.

What Hyundai Translead builds — and what that changes

Hyundai Translead's commercial lineup covers dry vans, refrigerated vans, flatbeds, and chassis. The trailer type decides which systems we inspect first.

Dry vans

Brakes, ABS, air, lighting, landing gear, suspension, and wheel ends — the systems we inspect and repair on these vans.

Refrigerated vans

Trailer running gear and body work is ours. Refrigeration-unit faults are confirmed by dispatch case by case.

Flatbeds and chassis

Deck, rail, lighting, suspension, and air work, plus inspection where the fault is in frame-mounted equipment rather than the body.

The trailer type — van, reefer, flatbed, or chassis — decides which systems are inspected first and which parts are pulled.

Trailer faults to describe to dispatch

When to call for repair

01
Air spring failure and suspension leaks

A hole in an air spring shows up as a sagging corner, a ride-height fault, or a leak that never quite holds. We replace the spring, reconnect the line, air the trailer to operating pressure, and check the repaired area for leakage.

02
Mud flap and mounting hardware loss

A missing flap is a small repair that turns into a roadside inspection problem. We remove the damaged hardware and install a replacement commercial flap with new mounting hardware.

03
ABS and lighting faults in the rear harness

Sensor, connector, and ground faults set the ABS lamp and kill lamps. We trace the circuit, repair the connection, and recheck operation before the trailer is released.

Mobile roadside or shop bay?

Air-spring and lighting repairs are common roadside and yard calls when the trailer can be worked on safely and the parts are available. Body, floor, and structural work goes to a bay after assessment.

Roadside or yard

  • Air leaks, gladhands, couplers, and lines
  • Brake and ABS faults, lighting and wiring
  • Eligible suspension, landing gear, and wheel-end work

Only where the trailer can be worked safely and the parts are on the truck.

In the shop bays

  • Body, floor, panel, roof, and door replacement
  • Structural and frame repair
  • Work that needs a lift or shop equipment

Bay time is scheduled separately from 24/7 mobile dispatch, and a tow may still be the safe answer for a trailer that cannot move.

// Dispatch intake

What dispatch needs from you

Say whether the fault is in the trailer or in the refrigeration unit. If it is the unit, dispatch confirms what we handle before a technician is assigned.

  • Trailer make, model, and year if you have it
  • Loaded or empty, and whether the trailer can be moved safely
  • Exact location: mile marker, yard, dock, or terminal, plus an on-site contact
  • What you are seeing — air pressure loss, ABS lamp, dead lights, wheel noise, sagging corner, door or floor damage
  • Photos of the failed area, if you can take them safely
  • Whether the trailer can be dropped and left at that location
